Workers Praised, The Morning Call

On Feb. 28th, 1977 our home was devastated by fire. I called upon Phil and Tony Anfuso, who had done a lot of previous remodeling and construction work for our family. They immediately began boarding the home up and promised to work day and night if necessary to put our family back in our home as soon as possible.

Phil, Tony and his crew literally broke their backs in freezing 20-degree temperatures, snow squalls and high winds. "The most amazing part of this story is that all of this has been done on a mere handshake."

"I would like to openly express our deep appreciation to Phil and Tony Anfuso and their crew. They have been a source of great hope at a very difficult time. To us, they will always be angels of mercy with calloused hands who came to our aid."
